Wattstull Inn was built in 1959 by Edward N.Watts and Mary Sue Stull while interstate 81 was under construction. The name WATTSTULL was acquired by combining the last names of these two visionaries. The business has been handed down through the years to Mr. and Mrs.Watts and children.
A little bit about our facility. Our 26 rooms are all ground floor with exterior corridors with parking right outside your room. We are nestled in between the Blue Ridge mountains and the Allegheny mountains the scenery is beautiful. We have an outdoor pool that opens Memorial Day through Labor Day. Spacious lawn for children to play. Rocking chairs and benches for your relaxation.
Sights to see in our area are the Natural Bridge of Virginia located just 8 miles north of us. Children enjoy the Safari Park located in Natural Bridge Va., its a drive thru park and children can feed the different animals, they also have a petting zoo.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is just a ten minute drive , where you will find the
Peaks of Otter. Theres also hiking trails on the parkway.
Motorcycle enthusiast are welcome we have a great location right off the blue ridge parkway, which is widely travelled by motorcycles over the interstate for a more scenic ride. We offer exterior parking right outside your room were your bikes are in your sight at all times.
Reasonable rates year round. Many motorcycle groups have used us because we are centrally located to some interesting rides, our location is 168 miles by interstate 81
to either state line Tennessee or Maryland/West Virginia.
The Virginia Horse Center is located just 25 miles away in Lexington Va. Also we are convenient to several area colleges: VMI 23 miles away Lexington Va., Washington & Lee 23 miles Lexington Va., Hollins College 24 miles Roanoke Va., and Virginia Tech 50 miles in Blacksburg Va. Let's not forget the race fans , Martinsville Speedway is just an hour and a half drive.
Come take a step back and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere, and for those that feel the need to be on the go , then enjoy what nature has to offer.
If fishing is your calling we are just 3 miles from the National Forest where they start in early spring stocking the many trout streams. The James River is a nearly year round attraction with its boating, canoeing and lets not forget bass fishing.
If hunting is your passion there are spring and fall gobbler seasons. Deer hunting in the fall with bow, muzzle loading and then rifle. After deer season bear season begins through the first week of January.
For the hiker in all of you there are several trails in the National Forest. We are located within 8 miles of the largest trail of all the Appalachian Trail. We are located on the 76 Bike Route.
During the fall foliage we have breathe taking views of the Shenandoah Valley.

on weekends and during special events.
We do allow pets. Advance notice is recommended as only a few of our rooms are pet friendly with no exceptions. There is a pet fee $10.00 for one, $15.00 for two pets
this fee is non-refundable.
